AUCTIONEERING SERVICES
What Do We
Auction?
The merchandise we handle is as diverse
as our many clients: computers; communication systems; office and
domestic furniture; construction equipment; earthmoving plants; printing
and photographic equipment; catering and restaurant equipment;
automotive plants; vehicles and transport equipment; and sporting
equipment; farm and ranch; storage facilities.
Choose Your Site
A number of factors will obviously
affect your decision; the quality and quantity of your merchandise, site
security, the layout of your site/premises, labor issues, concerns of
business interruptions as well as freight and labor costs.
Whichever, our commitment to securing you
the best possible net return is not variable.
The Auction
Process
Once your decision is made to hold an
auction,
Auction Masters can arrange every detail for you.
We collect the merchandise, value it,
arrange the lots into categories and catalogue them before targeting
potential buyers directly through our extensive mailing lists and
advertising in the media.
Of course, then there's all the work
involved in ensuring a successful sale day. Throughout the auction, our
advanced computer systems can give you an instant running total.
Rest assured that we have also taken
safeguards to ensure the absolute security of your records.
Auction Masters supervises the
collection of goods on their delivery to buyers; the all-important
collection of proceeds and accounting for each item; the calculation,
collection and remittance of sales tax (if applicable); and finally,
remittance of the net proceeds.
All auction proceeds are immediately
banked into a client realization trust account maintained with the
Washington Mutual Bank.
Funds are remitted to clients net of
costs and commissions within ten working days of the auction by either a
trust account check or wire to the vendor's bank account.

VALUATIONS
FINANCIAL REPORTING
There are many different situations that
require our valuations expertise:
- incorporation of company accounts
- company flotation
- company acquisitions
- finance raising for purchase of
plant and equipment
- finance arrangements for outsourcing
agreements
- or even just to fulfill your
responsibilities as company directors
The Legal
Necessities
Under the Corporations Law, it is the
direct responsibility of company directors to ensure that their Profit
and Loss Account and Balance Sheet give a true and fair view of the
company's state of affairs.
Both the private and public sectors must
comply with many regulatory demands for reporting the values of
non-current assets. Directors have onerous obligations to ensure the
accuracy and appropriateness of asset values reported.
Auction Masters valuers are highly
experienced in interpreting Accounting Standards and other regulations
to ensure out valuations comply with these requirements.
Our everyday experience with the casework
and paperwork of such statutory demands means we can make such
valuations as quickly and effectively as possible.
Reporting
Valuations can be prepared as a
sequential, detailed inventory of plant and equipment, divided into
individual areas and subtotaled into departments.
Where necessary,
Auction Masters
record data on the source, age, condition, purpose and output of each
plant item to enable an exact valuation to be determined. If they're
available, model and serial numbers are also included for positive
identification.
A complete copy of the valuation can be
provided on computer disk.
To aid entities preparing sale memoranda,
we can also provide complete valuations without figures for
incorporation into sales packages.
